Images taken just before track closure on Queens Birthday 2010. I took a drive up to Mt Stirling after turning off near Mirimbah.
The track was heavily snowed over and very slippery. I got to Craig’s Hut a little later than I intended but there was still enough light left for a few shots. The sky was overcast and I was hoping for some good light on the front of the hut but that didn’t really happen. There was still some good color in the sky to make some nice images. These shots were basically as taken with a little work to bring out the sky. I would normally have used a grad filter but I used some post grad instead.
Equipment: Canon 5D MkII and L lenses.
